Departmental Funding Consideration: Assistantships & Scholarships

  1. Consideration for departmental funding is based on application information (a separate application is not required).
  2. MS and PhD applicants are considered for assistantships and scholarships.
    • On the ISU Admissions application, applicants must use the checkboxes to indicate they want to be considered for teaching (TA), research (RA), or both.
    • Scholarship consideration is based on faculty nominations after the review of applications and is partial support.
  3. Master of Engineering students are typically not offered assistantships.
  4. CCEE undergraduates who apply to start a master’s degree immediately after finishing their BS degree qualify for scholarships of $3,000-$5,000 for the first year of graduate study.
